As the founder of The Goodman Law Firm, Linda Goodman is a highly
recognized and respected Internet Attorney. Linda Goodman entered
the Internet space in 2001 by successfully defending On-Line Marketing
and E-Commerce businesses against claims brought by the Federal
Trade Commission, New York, Florida and Texas State Attorney Generals,
large ISP firms and private civil litigants throughout the United
States. She has since combined her litigation experience with
her extensive knowledge of the daily operations of businesses
within the Internet space into a series of comprehensive compliance
programs. These programs are devised to avoid government investigation
and litigation. Uniquely designed, they set up an internal system
for Federal and State Advertising, E-Mailing and E-Commerce compliance
and are the beginning steps for any Internet-Based business to
develop a compliance culture within their individual organization.
Such compliance programs have been successfully implemented for
a broad range of Internet and E-Commerce Companies, including
Networks, Affiliates, List Managers, Advertisers and ISPs.
With 18 years of solid legal practice behind her, Linda Goodman
currently serves as outside general counsel to the Internet-Based
Community in which she handles all legal matters from business
formation, to compliance policies and practices, contractual issues
as well as overseeing various attorneys needed in specialized
fields of law.
Linda Goodman graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree
from Arizona State University in 1985 and received her Juris Doctorate
from the University Of San Diego School Of Law in 1988. She is
currently AV rated by Martindale-Hubble. Linda Goodman has represented
clients before the California Superior and Appellate Courts, the
Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District, Bankruptcy
and Tax Courts. Ms. Goodman is admitted to the Ninth Circuit Court
of Appeals, U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. District Courts of Colorado,
the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Districts of California,
U.S. District Court and all California State Courts. She is a
member of the Business and Internet Sections of the State Bar
of California. She is the author of various articles and presentations
pertaining to Internet law, employment law and litigation.

Sortino, Paralegal

Vicki
Sortino began her career in law in 1985 and has been involved in
business development since 1983. In 1994, she opened an independent
consulting firm specializing in providing high-end paralegal support
and business development services to new and established law firms,
VJ Sortino, Inc.
Paralegal services include establishing and maintaining business
entities and related corporate records; conducting extensive audits
of corporate books to attract investors for high growth companies;
legal writing and editing; document analysis and organization;
and management of complex matters for both business transactions
and litigation. Ms. Sortino has also been retained to coordinate
the launch and/or expansion of multiple law firms and marketing
companies. These services include extensive systems development
to improve efficiency and profitability, as well as a data collection
and management system for the launch of an international marketing
company into the Philippines.
In addition to the legal and marketing arenas, Ms. Sortino also
spent nine years in the medical field, including several years
as a program manager for a prominent medical marketing company.
Vicki Sortino has been a significant member of the Goodman team
since 1999.

Nelson, Paralegal

over 25 years experience serving the legal industry, Deborah Nelson
has been providing valuable support to law firms and their constituency
as Operations Director, manager, systems analyst and paralegal.
As a business consultant, Ms. Nelson specializes in identifying

Hinds, Paralegal

Ms.
Hinds is a certified paralegal with The Goodman Law Firm. She has
an Associate of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies from Kelsey-Jenny
College.
Between 1996 and 2003, Ms. Hinds acted as paralegal/executive
assistant to several Vice Presidents' and General Counsel. She
has a diverse background working for Fortune 500 companies, the
high-tech industry and even the weight loss industry.
Since joining The Goodman Law Firm, Ms. Hinds assists in the
formation, dissolution and management of all entity types. This
includes reviewing contracts, legal research, maintaining corporate
books, document preparation, drafting annual minutes and other
board-related materials, stock administration, assisting in preparation
of due diligence matters; filing of business qualifications and
other state and federal filings. Ms. Hinds' number one goal is
to ensure that client service and satisfaction are attained in
all areas of her position.
Ms. Hinds also served in the United States Navy. She was trained
in Aircraft Electronics and worked on F-14's prior to her honorable
discharge in 1995.
